Royce Navy

Royce FabricF4933-22

Royce Navy is a quietly tailored plain with a soft, woven surface and a cool, muted navy tone. The close weave gives it a refined, matt look rather than a glossy finish.

About this fabric

This Royce colourway reads as a restrained navy with a greyed, blue-steel cast, so it feels calmer and less saturated than a classic indigo. The fabric has a fine, lightly slubbed weave visible across the surface, which softens the depth of colour and adds a subtle textural grain. It is supplied at approximately 140cm wide and composed of 39% cotton, 24% viscose, 24% wool and 13% polyamide, a blend that supports a woven cloth with body and a composed handle. With no repeat to interrupt the surface, it works as a clean, continuous plain for upholstery or drapery alike. The √BH fire code is also noted, making it suitable for projects where specification matters.

How to use it

Use it on a tailored sofa, banquette or curtains where the cooler navy note can anchor pale timber, chalk white or brushed metal finishes. Its muted depth also pairs well with denim blues, warm greys and natural linens.

A versatile deep blue that feels tailored and calm on both seating and curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
