About this fabric

This plain fabric from the Royce collection by Colefax and Fowler is woven in a balanced blend of 39% cotton, 24% viscose, 24% wool and 13% polyamide, with a width of approximately 140cm. The swatch shows a delicate sage-green ground with a slightly warm, dusty undertone and a fine, even surface that softens the colour in the light. With vertical and horizontal repeat both listed as 0cm approx., it presents as a clean, uncomplicated cloth rather than a patterned design. The wool and viscose content give the shade a gentle depth, while the polyamide adds practicality to the handle. Care code Q 8 + T 3 and fire code √BH are supplied for this exact fabric.

How to use it

Use Roye Leaf on an armchair, bench or relaxed dining seat where the muted green can bring a soft botanical note without feeling overly saturated. It also suits tailored curtains in light-filled rooms, where the fabric’s pale sage tone will stay airy and understated.

A calm sage tone that works beautifully on upholstered pieces or soft, tailored curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
