Stratford Silver

Roscoe FabricF3831-16

Stratford Silver is a softly mottled silver-grey with a calm, matte look and a fine woven texture. The tone feels cool and understated, with just enough variation in the surface to keep it from reading flat.

About this fabric

Woven with no visible repeat, Stratford Silver has a quiet, textural finish that suits both upholstery and drapery. The cloth is composed of 59% viscose, 16% polyester, 15% cotton and 10% linen, giving it a smooth but natural-feeling handle and a slightly softened sheen in the light. At approximately 140cm wide, it is practical for tailored curtains as well as smaller-scale seating pieces and cushions. The pale silver-grey colourway reads clean and contemporary rather than stark, with a muted chalky cast that sits easily in layered interiors.

How to use it

Use Stratford Silver where you want a fresh neutral that won’t fight stronger colours, especially with oak, painted timber and brushed metal finishes. Its cool silver tone also works well in rooms that need brightness without the sharpness of pure white.

A quietly polished neutral that works well across upholstery and curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
