Lorenzo Gold

Romilly FabricF4927-02

Lorenzo Gold shows a finely striped ground in a rich antique-gold tone, with slim decorative accents running vertically through the cloth. The overall effect is tailored and quietly decorative, with just enough pattern contrast to give the surface rhythm.

About this fabric

This Romilly fabric is composed of 62% cotton and 38% viscose, giving the striped design a smooth but slightly lustrous handle. The swatch reads as a warm antique gold, softened by brown undertones and lifted by narrow cream, olive and muted rose detailing in the stripe. Its vertical repeat is approximately 14cm with an approximate width of 134cm, which supports a regular, elegant drop across larger pieces. The pattern has a smart, classic feel rather than a bold graphic one, making the colourway feel refined and settled.

How to use it

Use this warm gold colourway to bring depth to walnut furniture, ochre accents or soft neutral walls, where the stripe can add structure without feeling harsh. It would also suit lined curtains or tailored upholstery in a study, dining room or formal sitting room.

A tailored stripe that works beautifully on formal seating or elegant curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
