About this fabric

Kelston Forest from the Romilly collection by Colefax and Fowler is a fabric with a compact all-over geometric repeat, measuring approximately V 3cm / H 4cm. The woven surface blends 40% viscose, 38% cotton, 18% linen and 4% polyester, which helps the cloth read with a soft handle and a slightly dry, natural texture. In this colourway the pattern sits in a muted forest green with pale, earthy highlights, so the design feels understated and refined rather than bright or high contrast. At approximately 138cm wide, it is an adaptable cloth for schemes that want detail without visual noise, and the √BM fire rating is supplied for this exact fabric.

How to use it

Use Kelston Forest on an armchair, bench or roman blind where the small-scale repeat can be appreciated up close. Its subdued green works especially well with oak, aged brass and warm neutral walls.

A restrained green with a tiny repeating weave that feels tailored and versatile.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
