About this fabric
From the Roscoe collection by Colefax and Fowler, Marcel Green is a fabric with a subtle small-scale geometric repeat, measuring approximately V 10cm / H 9cm. The cloth is 139cm wide and composed of 64% Linen, 21% Viscose, 8% Cotton, 4% Polyamide and 3% Acrylic, which helps explain its crisp woven texture and slightly softened surface. In this colourway, the pattern reads as a faded sage green with a gentle stone-grey cast, so the motif is visible without feeling high contrast. The overall effect is measured and versatile rather than bright, making the fabric feel refined and easy to place.
How to use it
Use Marcel Green on a tailored armchair, ottoman or occasional sofa where the small geometric pattern can be appreciated up close. Its muted sage-grey tone also works well for Roman blinds or curtains alongside timber, chalky neutrals and brass accents.
