Fulbrook Red/Green

Romilly FabricF4938-01

Fulbrook Red/Green is a small geometric woven with a finely speckled, lattice-like rhythm. The red motifs sit against a muted sage and stone ground, giving the design a quietly traditional character.

About this fabric

Fulbrook Red/Green from the Romilly collection by Colefax and Fowler is a woven fabric with a compact repeat of approximately V 4cm / H 5cm and a width of about 140cm. Its 41% viscose, 32% cotton, 14% linen and 13% polyester composition gives the cloth a softly textured, slightly slubby handle that reads as a balanced mid-weight. In this colourway, the tiny red diamond notes are softened by greenish beige and warm neutral background tones, so the pattern feels earthy rather than bright. The overall effect is tidy and refined, with enough contrast to show the motif clearly while remaining calm at upholstery scale. Care code Q 8 < T 3 and fire code √BH are supplied for this exact fabric.

How to use it

Use it on a small armchair, occasional seating or cushions where the restrained red-and-green palette can add pattern without dominating. It pairs naturally with aged timber, cream walls and deeper heritage greens.

A neat small-scale geometric that brings warm colour without overwhelming a room.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
