Pelham Red

Pelham FabricF4857-03

Pelham Red pairs a tiny trailing botanical motif with a vivid crimson ground that reads rich and lively rather than dark. The repeated red pattern gives the fabric a crisp, decorative rhythm across the cloth.

About this fabric

Woven in 68% cotton and 32% linen, this Pelham fabric has the kind of surface character that suits both upholstery and drapery. The repeat is approximately V 12cm by H 17cm, creating a dense all-over trail of fine leaf-like sprigs that feels orderly from a distance and more intricate up close. In this colourway the red is warm and confident, with a slightly softened depth that sits against the natural-looking base rather than sitting flat on top of it. The width is approximately 140cm, and the care code is Q 8 < T 3 with fire code √BM.

How to use it

Pelham Red works well on a smart armchair, a padded window seat, or full-length curtains where the small-scale pattern can bring energy to classic interiors. Its crimson tone is especially effective with painted wood, aged brass, and quiet neutrals that let the pattern lead.

Use for tailored upholstery or elegant curtains where a lively crimson pattern can add warmth without overwhelming the room.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
