Kelston Red
Romilly FabricF4222-05
Kelston Red presents a tightly worked geometric weave in a rich, warm red palette. The small diamond repeat gives the cloth a lively, almost embroidered look from a distance.

About this fabric
This Kelston Red colourway from Colefax and Fowler’s Romilly collection is a 138cm-wide fabric woven in 40% viscose, 38% cotton, 18% linen and 4% polyester. The repeat is approximately V 3cm and H 4cm, creating a small-scale lattice of diamonds that reads crisp and orderly across the surface. Visually, the shade is a deep warm red with softer biscuit-toned highlights in the motif, so the pattern stands out without looking bright or glossy. The overall effect is textured and tailored, with enough substance for use on seating while still working well for curtains or blinds. Fire code √BM and care code Q 8 < T 3 are supplied for this exact fabric.
How to use it
Use this red on an accent chair, banquette or cushions where you want pattern and colour without a large-scale statement. It pairs especially well with dark wood, aged brass and warm neutrals that let the woven diamond effect take centre stage.
A compact woven red that brings warmth and detail to both upholstery and curtains.

Pairs well with
A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Kelston Red without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
