Castele Celadon

Roscoe FabricF4770-05

Castele Celadon shows a finely worked geometric pattern in a muted celadon ground, giving the fabric a calm, cool character. The motif reads small and regular across the cloth, with just enough texture to soften the surface.

About this fabric

Woven in 58% viscose, 30% linen and 12% polyester, this fabric has a softly handled, mid-weight feel that suits both upholstery and drapery. The design repeats at approximately V 6cm and H 5cm, creating a compact lattice of tiny rounded motifs that keeps the pattern controlled and tailored. In this colourway, the celadon comes through as a pale green with a greyed, slightly chalky cast rather than a bright mint, so the pattern stays understated. The textured weave adds gentle depth, with the raised and recessed threads catching the light just enough to give the surface a refined, cloth-like finish.

How to use it

Use it on a compact armchair, banquette, or full-length curtains where the small repeat can be appreciated without overwhelming the room. Its cool celadon tone works especially well with limestone, weathered timber, and pale painted joinery.

Pair with pale oak and chalky neutrals to let the celadon tone feel fresh and refined.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Castele Celadon without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
