About this fabric

Oxana Check Red from Jane Churchill’s Cabrera Stripes collection combines 42% cotton, 27% viscose, 23% polyester and 8% linen in a fabric that reads as a substantial mid-weight. The visible herringbone-like texture sits within a large check repeat, with the vertical and horizontal structure giving the cloth a crisp, tailored feel. Its red ground is softened by coral, terracotta and blush notes, so the colour feels warm rather than bright or primary. At approximately 140cm wide with a vertical repeat of 41cm and horizontal repeat of 70cm, it is well suited to pattern placement on upholstery or curtains. The √BM fire code and Q 8 < T 3 care notation make it a practical decorative textile as well as a characterful one.

How to use it

This warm red check works well with aged oak, painted creams and muted greens, where the rustier notes can echo timber and brick. Use it to bring life to a relaxed armchair, window seat or full-length curtains without the pattern feeling overpowering.
