About this fabric

This Jane Churchill fabric from the Camber Stripes collection is woven in 51% linen and 49% cotton, giving the stripe a natural matte handle and a slightly dry, tailored look. The design has a vertical repeat only, at approximately 0cm / 11cm horizontal, which suits the regular pinstripe rhythm visible in the swatch. The red appears muted and earthy against the pale ground, while the green leans soft and slightly cool, so the contrast feels restrained rather than bold. At approximately 138cm wide and with care code Q 8 + T 3 plus √BM fire performance, it is a practical decorative textile for schemes that want a classic stripe with a lighter, calmer colourway.

How to use it

Use it on loose covers, cushions or curtains where the narrow stripe can add order without heaviness. It works especially well with cream paint, pale oak and other softened natural finishes.

Pair with natural timber and plain linens to let the narrow stripes stay crisp and fresh.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
