Tango Stripe Red/Green

Cabrera Stripes FabricJ0190-03

Tango Stripe Red/Green is a crisp, vertical stripe with a cheerful coral-red emphasis softened by pale ground tones and narrow sage accents. The woven texture gives the stripes a clean, lightly rustic character.

About this fabric

From Jane Churchill’s Cabrera Stripes collection, this fabric is 100% cotton and comes in an approximate width of 135cm with a vertical repeat of 0cm and a horizontal repeat of 27cm. The stripe pattern is narrow and disciplined, with broader coral-red bands set against a pale neutral ground and edged by fine green and cream lines. In this colourway the red reads warm and fresh rather than deep or formal, while the sage detail cools the overall effect and keeps the design airy. The surface looks like a smooth, breathable cotton cloth with enough body for either relaxed upholstery or straightforward drapery, depending on the project.

How to use it

Pair this red-and-green stripe with painted timber, simple white upholstery or rattan for a bright, country-led scheme. It also works well in a conservatory or breakfast room where the fresh coral tone can sit against pale walls.

Use it to bring a fresh, tailored lift to classic seating or smart curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
