Robin Red

Boscombe FabricJ0135-01

Robin Red brings a warm, softly muted red to Boscombe, with the tiny repeating check reading clearly across the cloth. The overall effect is light and fresh rather than bold, thanks to the pale ground and the fine woven texture.

About this fabric

This Jane Churchill fabric is woven in a balanced composition of 52% viscose, 36% cotton, 9% linen and 3% polyester, giving the surface a crisp but slightly softened handle. The repeat is a neat V 1cm / H 2cm approx, which creates the narrow, regular check visible in the image. At 142cm approx wide, it is a practical cloth for tailored furnishings as well as window treatments. The Robin Red colourway sits in a gentle pink-red range, with a warm, powdery tone that feels more subtle than saturated. The fine weave and small-scale pattern give it a tidy, understated finish that suits rooms needing colour without heaviness.

How to use it

Use Robin Red on a pair of neat armchairs, a bench seat or simple curtains where its soft red checks can add warmth without dominating. It pairs especially well with painted woods, oatmeal linens and heritage neutrals.

A refined small-scale check that works neatly on upholstery or relaxed curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
