Robin Blue

Boscombe FabricJ0135-07

Robin Blue Boscombe has a pale, cool blue-grey character with a finely textured woven look. The small-scale chevron/check effect reads quietly across the surface rather than as a bold pattern.

About this fabric

This Boscombe colourway is woven in 52% viscose, 36% cotton, 9% linen and 3% polyester, giving the cloth a lightly textural finish with a soft sheen in the lighter yarns. The repeat is compact at approximately V 1cm / H 2cm, so the zigzag detail stays subtle and close together across the width. At approximately 142cm wide, it is a practical fabric for both upholstery and drapery projects where you want pattern without visual weight. Robin Blue itself sits in a very pale robin’s egg blue with a cool, misty cast, softened further by the woven ground and the fine, linear motif. Care code Q 8 < T 3 and fire code √BM are supplied for this exact fabric.

How to use it

Use it on small upholstered pieces, cushions or relaxed curtains where the soft blue tone can lift a neutral scheme. It pairs especially well with chalk whites, pale oak and brushed metal details.

A light, airy blue that works neatly on tailored upholstery or calm curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
