Firle Stripe Red

Camber Stripes FabricJ0273-01

Firle Stripe Red shows a neat, upright stripe pattern in a muted coral-red tone, softened by pale cream and fine darker pin lines. The linen-cotton weave gives the surface a dry, lightly textured look rather than a flat print.

About this fabric

From the Camber Stripes collection by Jane Churchill, this fabric is woven in 51% linen and 49% cotton, with a width of approximately 138cm and a horizontal repeat of about 11cm. The stripe reads as warm and slightly sun-washed, with the red taking on a coral cast against the pale ground and narrow dark accent lines. That mix of softened red, cream and charcoal makes the design feel tailored and easy to live with, while the visible slub in the cloth keeps it from looking overly sharp. Care code Q 8 + T 3 and fire code √BM are supplied for this exact quality.

How to use it

This red works well on small upholstery pieces, headboards or relaxed curtains where the stripe can bring order without feeling formal. Pair it with chalky neutrals, aged timber and a little dark metal to echo the stripe’s warm, grounded contrast.

Use to add a crisp, tailored accent that feels fresh rather than brash.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
