About this fabric

Part of Jane Churchill’s Camber Stripes collection, Firle Stripe Aqua is woven in 51% Linen and 49% Cotton with a width of approximately 138cm and a horizontal pattern repeat of about 11cm. The stripe reads as a soft, watery aqua with a slightly muted teal cast, broken up by narrow ivory and pale neutral lines that keep the design crisp. The surface has a relaxed, natural slub from the linen content, so the colour feels fresh rather than glossy or bright. With Q 8 + T 3 care coding and √BM fire performance noted, it is a practical decorative fabric for interiors that want a clean stripe with some texture.

How to use it

Use this colourway on tailored blinds, cushions or a relaxed armchair to bring a cool coastal note without losing structure. It pairs especially well with chalk white, bleached timber and pale oak, where the aqua can stay soft and airy.

Fresh and tailored, this soft aqua stripe lifts classic schemes with a cool, coastal feel.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Firle Stripe Aqua without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
