Sanderson One Sixty Fabrics FabricSAF0357-01

Chelsea Forest/Indigo is a richly layered floral on a deep teal-blue ground, scattered with soft cream, pale blue and leafy green blooms. The contrast gives the pattern a fresh, vivid edge while keeping the overall look grounded.

About this fabric

This Sanderson One Sixty Fabrics design is a woven fabric with a usable width of 141 cm and a substantial weight of 286 gsm, making it best suited to upholstery. The large floral repeat measures 45.5 cm vertically and 70 cm horizontally, so the pattern reads with generous movement rather than a tight, all-over dotting. In this colourway, the dark blue-green ground sharpens the pale blossoms, while the cream petals and cool sky-blue flowers feel bright and crisp against it. Small touches of yellow-green detail lift the composition and stop the palette from feeling too cool or flat.

How to use it

Use it on a compact armchair, ottoman or accent cushions where the deep teal ground can anchor the room. It pairs well with pale woods, chalky paint colours and brushed brass for a smart, tailored finish.

A striking, painterly floral that brings cool depth to upholstery or statement drapery.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Chelsea Forest/Indigo without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
