Dandelion Clocks Red

Sanderson One Sixty Fabrics FabricSAF0030-01

Dandelion Clocks Red makes an immediate impact with its vivid crimson ground and scrolling dandelion-head motif in soft grey, charcoal and ivory. The large repeat gives the design a striking, graphic rhythm across the cloth.

About this fabric

This Sanderson One Sixty Fabrics cloth is 137 cm wide, with a 62 cm vertical repeat and a 203 gsm weight, making it a useful mid-weight for either upholstery or drapery. In this colourway, the background reads as a saturated crimson red with a slightly brushed depth, so the pattern sits clearly without looking flat. The stylised seed heads are picked out in smoky grey, warm charcoal and pale ivory, which softens the intensity of the red and gives the design a strong contrast. With 38 threads per cm, the fabric has a close, refined surface that helps the motif stay crisp and defined.

How to use it

This red colourway works well as a focal fabric on an armchair, banquette or bench, especially where you want the pattern to energise a room. It also makes vivid curtains with enough tonal contrast in the motif to read well against timber, brass or dark painted wood.

Use for statement upholstery or dramatic curtains where the bold red can carry the room.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
