About this fabric

This Sanderson One Sixty Fabrics design is a substantial woven fabric at 380gsm, with a usable width of 137 cm and a 50 m standard length. The pattern repeat is 45 cm vertically and runs full width at 137 cm horizontally, giving the bird-and-floral scene a strong, all-over rhythm across the cloth. Visually, the cream background reads slightly aged and mellow, while the repeated birds, leaves and berries bring in earthy brown outlines, flashes of turquoise and blue, and touches of rust and gold. The thread count of 24 threads per cm suggests a closely worked surface with enough body for upholstery, and the overall look is confident, detailed and distinctly traditional.

How to use it

Use it on an armchair, dining chair or ottoman where the cream ground can lift a darker room. It also works well against painted wood, especially with teal, olive or deep brown accents that echo the print.
