About this fabric

The detailed map design is printed in a gently weathered palette, with pale blue-grey coastlines and waves set against vanilla, alongside red banners, olive-green land marks, yellow highlights and small black sailing vessels. Ships, sea creatures, clouds, anchors, compass roses and hot-air balloons create a lively, storybook surface without losing the lightness of the background. This wallpaper has a useable width of 68.6 cm, a 45.7 cm vertical pattern repeat and a standard length of 10.05 m. At 147 gsm, it offers a relatively light specification suited to covering walls with this intricate printed scene.

How to use it

Pair the vanilla ground with warm white woodwork, pale blue textiles and natural timber for a relaxed coastal or children’s room scheme. Pick out the muted red and olive-green marks in cushions, artwork or painted furniture to give the map’s small accents more presence.

Use the warm vanilla ground to brighten children’s rooms, coastal schemes or relaxed country interiors while the map illustrations add colour and storytelling.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Treasure Map Vanilla/Multi without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
