About this fabric

This Sanderson One Sixty Fabric has a usable width of 137 cm, a standard length of 50 m, and a substantial weight of 402 gsm, giving it a fuller handle than a lightweight drape cloth. The pattern repeat is 64 cm vertically and 137 cm horizontally, so the design is intended to show its full scenic sweep across the width. In this colourway, the warm cream ground keeps the print bright, while the mauve fruit and fennel-green leaves add a soft, slightly vintage freshness. The hand-painted look feels detailed rather than dense, with the birds and trailing stems giving the fabric a relaxed decorative rhythm.

How to use it

Use it for curtains, Roman blinds or a relaxed upholstered accent where the cream ground can lift the room. It pairs well with painted wood, soft greens and muted pinks, letting the mauve fruit motif become the focal point.

The soft cream ground keeps the painterly fruit-and-bird motif light and airy, with fennel greens and mauve-red accents adding a gentle heritage feel.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Pear & Pomegranate Mauve/Fennel without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
