Shore Birds Driftwood

Sanderson Home Wallpapers WallpaperSAW0116-02

Shore Birds Driftwood places softly sketched white gulls against a pale, warm grey-beige ground. Ochre legs and beaks punctuate the cool grey wing marks, giving the quiet coastal scene a gently weathered character.

About this fabric

The Driftwood colourway pairs a softly warm, pale greige ground with scattered gulls rendered in chalky white, weathered grey and small touches of ochre at the beaks and legs. The birds sit at varied heights with generous open ground between them, so the 52 cm vertical repeat reads airy rather than dense. Supplied at a 52 cm usable width and 10.05 m standard length, it is specified at 154 gsm. Fine painted-looking edges and lightly mottled grey wings give the otherwise quiet surface its movement.

How to use it

Use this pale driftwood colourway to bring a calm coastal note to bedrooms, hallways or relaxed sitting rooms. Pair the warm greige ground with off-white, weathered timber and small accents of ochre to echo the birds’ beaks and legs.

A softly weathered coastal design, pairing an airy greige ground with chalky gulls and restrained ochre details.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
