Woodland Plain Pebble

Melford Weaves FabricSAF0154-05

Woodland Plain Pebble is a softly mottled taupe woven with a calm, stone-like finish. The surface reads as relaxed and tactile, with light catching the raised yarns rather than any printed pattern.

About this fabric

This colourway sits in a warm pebble taupe, blending beige and grey so the cloth feels grounded rather than cool. The weave is visibly open and nubby, with the slubbed texture giving the plain surface gentle movement across the full width. At 484 gsm, it has the substantial handle you would expect from an upholstery fabric, and the 142 cm usable width with no pattern repeat makes cutting straightforward. The 15 threads per cm help create a dense, sturdy look while still preserving that woven, natural character.

How to use it

Use it on a sofa, armchair or banquette where the warm neutral tone can soften stronger woods, black metal or darker accents. It also works well with chalky whites, tobacco leather and layered natural linens for a calm, tactile scheme.

A quietly textured neutral that brings warmth and depth to tailored seating.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
