About this fabric

Woodland Plain Ivory from Sanderson’s Melford Weaves is a plain woven fabric with no pattern repeat, a usable width of 142 cm and a substantial 484 gsm weight. The tight 15 threads per cm create a neatly ordered surface, while the visible weave gives the ivory ground a lightly mottled, handwoven character. In this colourway the tone reads as a warm, milky ivory with just enough depth to soften sharp lines and avoid looking stark. It has the reassuring body expected of an upholstery cloth, with enough visual texture to keep a solid scheme from feeling flat.

How to use it

Use this warm ivory to brighten armchairs, banquettes or scatter cushions where you want a clean backdrop with a little texture. It also works well alongside timber, linen and muted greens, where its soft cream tone keeps the room feeling gentle and natural.

A soft ivory weave that brings quiet warmth to tailored upholstery and cushions.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
