Sorilla Stripe Eggshell Linen

Lymington Damasks and Stripes FabricSAF0128-03

Sorilla Stripe Eggshell Linen has a quietly fresh, vertical stripe that reads as pale cream and chalky white with a whisper of cool blue-grey in the ground. The effect is airy and restrained, with just enough contrast to give the stripe definition.

About this fabric

From Sanderson’s Lymington Damasks and Stripes collection, this Fabric has a usable width of 137 cm, a standard length of 50 m, a vertical repeat of 0 cm and a horizontal repeat of 6 cm. At 387 gsm and 102 threads per cm, it presents as a substantial woven cloth with a crisp, tailored handle rather than a flimsy decorative stripe. In this colourway the eggshell ground feels softly luminous, while the narrow pale bands add a gentle rhythm without hard edges. The finish is calm and refined, with the stripe detail staying visible even in diffuse light.

How to use it

Use it on a refined armchair, bench or tailored curtains where the soft eggshell tone can lighten the room without introducing a stark white. It works especially well with painted timber, pale oak and muted blue or sage accents.

A calm eggshell stripe that lifts pale interiors without feeling stark.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Sorilla Stripe Eggshell Linen without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
