Lymington Damask Willow
Lymington Damasks and Stripes FabricSAF0010-16
Lymington Damask Willow is a softly luminous damask in a fresh willow green. The design reads as elegant and quietly traditional, with the motif picked out just enough to show against the ground.

About this fabric
This Sanderson fabric is supplied with a usable width of 142 cm and a substantial 340 gsm weight, giving the cloth a fuller handle suited to upholstery. The damask motif has a 42 cm vertical repeat and 36 cm horizontal repeat, and in this colourway the pattern sits in a pale willow green that feels airy rather than heavy. The weave catches the light gently, so the raised pattern reads with a slight tonal shift rather than a strong contrast. With threads per cm at 230, the surface looks closely made and refined, supporting the crisp detail of the repeated scrollwork and central floral forms. There are no performance features noted, so this colourway is best chosen for interiors where the decorative finish is the priority.
How to use it
Use Willow on a neatly tailored sofa, an occasional chair, or window seats where its light green tone can soften darker woods. It also works well in rooms with cream paintwork and brass details, where the damask can feel elegant without becoming too formal.
A fresh willow tone that lifts carved furniture, formal chairs, and quiet statement cushions.

Pairs well with
A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Lymington Damask Willow without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
