Sorilla Damask Delft/Linen

Lymington Damasks and Stripes FabricSAF0127-03

Sorilla Damask Delft/Linen shows a classic floral damask drawn in washed delft blue against a linen-toned ground. The overall effect is airy and traditional, with enough contrast to keep the pattern crisp.

About this fabric

This Sanderson fabric has a usable width of 137 cm and a generous 46 cm vertical repeat, so the large-scale damask reads clearly across cushions, curtains or statement upholstery. The fabric’s 387 gsm weight gives it a substantial handle, while the 102 threads per cm specification points to a tightly woven cloth with a neat, detailed surface. Visually, the linen background is soft and light, letting the blue motif sit in a calm, slightly faded register rather than a sharp, bright one. The rose and foliage forms feel decorative but restrained, with the pale blue-grey outline keeping the design cool and easy to live with.

How to use it

Use this delft and linen palette to soften dark wood, painted panelling or classic striped companions. It works especially well in rooms that need a fresh, polished pattern without losing a relaxed feel.

A refined damask that brings a calm, tailored feel to upholstery or elegant curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
