About this fabric

From Sanderson’s Melford Weaves collection, this fabric has a usable width of 144 cm and is woven at a substantial 428 gsm, which gives the stripe a firm, substantial handle. The design shows very fine vertical striping in cool blue and pale ivory, creating a crisp, orderly surface with a lightly weathered chambray feel. With a 1.9 cm horizontal repeat and no vertical repeat, the pattern reads cleanly and continuously across larger pieces. The high thread count of 104 threads per cm supports the sharp definition of the narrow stripes and the smooth, closely woven appearance.

How to use it

This soft blue stripe suits relaxed country upholstery, Roman blinds, or tailored cushions where you want structure without heaviness. Its cool, chalky tone also layers easily with white, oatmeal, and pale oak.
