Melford Teal
Melford Weaves FabricSAF0338-21
Melford Teal shows a finely woven herringbone-style surface in a soft aqua teal that feels cool and clear rather than dark or saturated. The tiny zigzag structure gives the colour a gentle striped movement across the cloth.

About this fabric
This Sanderson Melford Weaves fabric is a 270 gsm textile with a usable width of 138.5 cm and a standard length of 40 m, making it a practical mid-weight choice for interiors. The pattern has a 0 cm vertical repeat and a 1.6 cm horizontal repeat, which reads here as a subtle, tight herringbone effect rather than a bold motif. In this colourway, the teal sits on the lighter side of the spectrum, with a fresh aqua cast that picks up the raised weave and catches the light softly. The result is neat and tailored, with enough texture to add interest without feeling busy.
How to use it
Use Melford Teal on an armchair, bench seat, or cushions where its crisp aqua-teal tone can sit against pale woods, chalky neutrals, or brushed brass. It would also lift curtains or Roman blinds in rooms that need a fresher, cooler note.
A fresh teal weave that brings pattern without overwhelming a room.

Pairs well with
A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Melford Teal without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
