About this fabric

Part of Sanderson’s Islay Wools collection, Bryndle Check Chasm is a 383gsm fabric with a usable width of 142 cm and a standard length of 54 m. The check has a 36 cm vertical repeat and 35.5 cm horizontal repeat, giving the design a confident, statement scale. In this colourway, bright teal sits against creamy stone and fine charcoal stripes, so the pattern reads fresh rather than heavy. The woven surface has a softly brushed, wool-rich look that suits upholstery especially well and gives the plaid a relaxed depth.

How to use it

Use it on an armchair, bench or loose cover where the teal blocks can punctuate a neutral room. It pairs well with bleached timber, chalky paint and other cool greys and blues.

A bold tartan-inspired check that brings a crisp, coastal feel to relaxed seating.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
