About this fabric

This Sanderson velvet has a substantial 765 gsm handle and a dense 48 threads per cm, which gives it the weight and structure expected of an upholstery fabric. The colour reads as a muted aqua-teal with a silvery lift, so it feels fresh rather than dark or heavily saturated. Its fine pile creates subtle shading across the surface, adding movement even though the design is plain. With a 140 cm usable width and no repeat, it is straightforward to pattern match for cushions, benches and tailored seating.

How to use it

Use this cool teal on a streamlined chair, ottoman or headboard to bring a crisp note to pale neutrals. It also works well with oak, brushed brass and chalky whites for a calm, modern look.
