Boho Velvets Pewter

Icaria and Boho Velvets VelvetSAF0133-06

Boho Velvets Pewter is a smoky grey velvet with a soft, low-sheen surface and a closely packed pile that catches the light gently. The colour sits cool and muted, giving the swatch a calm, grounded feel rather than a stark metallic finish.

About this fabric

This Sanderson velvet has a substantial 765 gsm weight and a dense 48 threads/cm construction, which suits the plush hand and firm drape visible in the swatch. The 140 cm usable width makes it practical for upholstery projects where a tailored finish is needed. In Pewter, the pile reads as a layered charcoal-grey with softened silver undertones, so the surface shifts subtly between matte and sheen as it moves. With no pattern repeat, the design depends entirely on the texture and tonal depth of the velvet rather than motif.

How to use it

Use this pewter tone on a sofa, armchair or headboard to add depth without introducing strong colour. It pairs especially well with pale oak, blackened metal and crisp off-white linens for a smart, understated scheme.

A cool pewter velvet that brings a tailored, quietly luxurious finish to modern seating.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
