About this fabric

This Sanderson velvet has a dense, tactile handle and a visible horizontal nap that gives the surface a subtle striated effect. The 140 cm usable width makes it practical for upholstery projects, and the substantial 765 gsm weight reinforces its suitability for seating and cushions. With 48 threads per cm, the cloth reads as tightly woven and polished rather than loose or fluffy. The jade tone is cool and slightly greyed, so the sheen appears subdued and sophisticated rather than glossy or bright.

How to use it

Use this jade velvet on an accent chair, ottoman or tailored cushion where the colour can sit against oak, walnut or pale neutrals. Its cool green depth also works well with brass details and layered botanical tones.
