About this fabric

This Sanderson velvet has a usable width of 140 cm and a substantial 765 gsm weight, giving it the dense, upholstered feel visible in the close-up. The cloth reads as a muted teal with greyed blue-green depth, rather than a bright jewel tone, and the pile creates a gentle directional sheen as the light moves across it. Its surface looks closely woven and compact, with 48 threads per cm contributing to the smooth, refined texture. With no repeat to manage, it is an easy plain velvet for clean-lined seating, cushions or statement accent pieces.

How to use it

Use this teal on an occasional chair, banquette or ottoman where the cool colour can read against oak, walnut or brushed brass. It also works well with chalky neutrals and deeper greens for a layered, tonal scheme.
