About this fabric

This Sanderson fabric has a substantial 340 gsm handle and a usable width of 142 cm, making it feel weighty enough for structured interior use. The damask motif is drawn in slightly deeper blue-grey relief, so the pattern reads with quiet contrast rather than strong definition. Its 42 cm vertical repeat and 36 cm horizontal repeat give the design a generous, traditional rhythm across larger pieces. With 230 threads per cm, the surface has a refined, tightly woven finish that supports the crispness of the pattern.

How to use it

Use this muted Wedgwood blue on a tailored chair, banquette or ottoman for a calm formal look. It also suits lined curtains where the soft blue-grey tone can sit comfortably alongside white woodwork or pale oak.

A cool, tailored damask that brings calm elegance to classic interiors.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
