Orwell Weaves FabricSAF0211-06

Linden Mineral shows a tightly worked geometric weave in a pale mineral blue and ivory palette. The small-scale pattern reads crisp and cool, with a softly mottled texture that keeps the surface lively.

About this fabric

This Sanderson fabric from the Orwell Weaves collection is a substantial 570gsm cloth with a usable width of 136.5 cm, making it well suited to tailored upholstery pieces. The woven pattern repeats every 2.9 cm vertically and 2.7 cm horizontally, creating a compact, orderly geometry that feels refined rather than busy. In this colourway, the blue is muted and airy, softened by chalky ivory highlights so the design sits somewhere between cool stone and faded denim. With 32 threads per cm, the weave has a close, textured hand that gives the surface depth and a gently tactile finish.

How to use it

Use Linden Mineral on an accent chair, ottoman or banquette where its cool blue-grey tone can sharpen pale woods, painted joinery and warm brass. It also works well in bright rooms that need a patterned fabric with enough quietness to layer under plain linens.

A cool, textured neutral-blue that lifts timber and limestone finishes beautifully.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
