Truffle Blue Clay

Pinetum Prints FabricSAF0406-05

Truffle Blue Clay has a gentle, weathered blue look with a fine, all-over botanical trail. The small-scale pattern reads softly from a distance and feels calm rather than busy.

About this fabric

Truffle Blue Clay is a 252gsm fabric with a usable width of 137cm and a 20cm vertical by 30cm horizontal pattern repeat, making it a versatile mid-weight textile. The swatch shows a pale, cool blue ground with a chalky, clay-like softness, lifted by a tiny stippled motif that creates a delicate, hand-drawn feel. At 38 threads per cm, the cloth appears closely woven and neatly detailed, with the pattern sitting lightly on the surface rather than looking bold or high-contrast. It has an easy, airy character that suits both upholstery and window treatments where a restrained decorative finish is wanted.

How to use it

Use this muted blue in rooms that need a quiet, fresh note rather than a strong accent. It works especially well with pale woods, stone, and soft whites, where its cool tone can stay light and understated.

A soft, cool-toned blue that brings quiet pattern without overpowering a room.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
