About this fabric

This Rue Linen colourway reads as a pale glacier blue, with a breezy, slightly chalky tone that feels fresh rather than icy. The plain weave shows a fine linen texture across the surface, with subtle slubs and gentle movement visible in the light. At 241gsm and 84 threads per cm, it has enough body for upholstery as well as a neat drape for curtains, while the 139cm usable width makes it practical for larger schemes. With no pattern repeat, the calm, all-over colour comes through cleanly and gives the fabric an easy, understated finish.

How to use it

Pair this soft blue with natural woods, white-painted joinery and sandy neutrals to keep the room light and relaxed. It also works well as a cooling accent against warmer linens and stone tones.

Use with pale oak, chalky whites and brushed metals for a calm, airy finish.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
