Rue Linen Feather

Rue Linen FabricSAF0347-32

Rue Linen Feather is a quietly textured linen in a soft stone grey that reads light, natural and understated. The surface has a gentle slubby character that gives the colour a lived-in softness rather than a flat finish.

About this fabric

Woven in linen with a usable width of 139 cm, a standard length of 40 m and a weight of 241 gsm, Rue Linen Feather has enough substance to sit comfortably across both upholstery and drapery schemes. The fabric shows a fine, dry weave with subtle irregularities that catch the light softly, adding depth to the pale grey tone. With no pattern repeat vertically or horizontally, it presents as a clean plain that lets the texture do the work. The overall effect is a cool, feathered grey with a slightly weathered look, ideal when you want something restrained but not stark.

How to use it

This pale grey works especially well alongside blond timber, chalky whites and deeper charcoal accents. Use it for tailored curtains, a loose cover or dining chairs when you want a calm neutral with a little texture.

A softly slubbed grey linen that feels calm and easy to layer with wood, wool and muted paint colours.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
