Rue Linen Corn

Rue Linen FabricSAF0347-09

Rue Linen Corn is a quietly luminous plain weave with a soft corn-cream finish. The surface reads smooth and dry-handled, with just enough texture to keep the colour from feeling flat.

About this fabric

This colourway sits in a pale corn and cream range, with a warm, slightly green-leaning undertone that softens the look in natural light. The fabric is a plain design with no repeat, and its 139 cm usable width makes it straightforward for larger upholstery or curtain drops. At 241 gsm and 84 threads per cm, it has a substantial cloth feel while still reading clean and understated rather than heavy. The fine weave visible in the swatch gives the colour a gentle matte depth, so it feels tailored and calm instead of bright or stark.

How to use it

Use this shade where you want a light, mellow neutral that won’t overpower timber, rattan or painted joinery. It works especially well with warm whites, pale oak and muted sage for a soft, layered room.

A calm, easy neutral that works neatly across upholstery and curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
