About this fabric

This colourway reads as a deep brick red with warm brown undertones, giving it a grounded, slightly weathered feel rather than a bright or glossy red. The plain weave is clearly visible in the swatch, with a fine grid of threads that adds texture without introducing pattern. At 241 gsm and with 84 threads per cm, it has enough substance for confident furnishing use while still feeling cloth-like and adaptable. The 139 cm usable width and zero pattern repeat make it practical for clean upholstery cuts or uncomplicated curtains where the texture is the main interest.

How to use it

Pair this brick tone with aged brass, dark timber and muted neutrals for a room with warmth and depth. It also layers well with linen whites and tobacco browns if you want the colour to feel more relaxed and grounded.

A warm, earthy red that works well on tailored upholstery or softened drapery.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
