About this fabric

This Sanderson fabric from the Orwell Weaves collection is specified at 136.5 cm wide and has a substantial 570 gsm weight, giving the cloth a firm, upholstered feel. The pattern repeat is compact at 2.9 cm vertical and 2.7 cm horizontal, which suits the tightly worked, tessellated look visible in the swatch. In this colourway, the celadon reads as a muted sage green with a cool, chalky cast, lifted by the ivory ground and tiny thread shifts across the weave. With 32 threads per cm, the texture appears dense and neatly structured, making the design look crisp rather than loose or slubby.

How to use it

Use Linden Celadon on an occasional chair, banquette or pair of cushions where the restrained green can add pattern without overpowering the room. It sits especially well with pale oak, stone, and other soft neutrals for a calm, tailored scheme.
