Pinetum Stripe Blue Clay

Pinetum Prints FabricSAF0401-05

Pinetum Stripe Blue Clay shows a clean vertical stripe in soft sage and cream, with a gently aged, chalky feel. The narrow repeat gives it a neat, orderly rhythm that reads calm rather than busy.

About this fabric

This Sanderson fabric is a 252gsm textile with a usable width of 137 cm and no pattern repeat, which makes the stripe read as a simple, continuous vertical layout. The swatch shows slim sage bands softened by pale cream grounds, with fine pinstripe detailing that gives the surface a quietly tailored look. Its 38 threads per cm suggest a closely woven cloth, and the finish appears crisp rather than heavy or plush. The overall effect is cool and airy, with the blue-clay naming sitting closer to muted sage and celadon than to a strong blue.

How to use it

This colourway suits rooms that need a light, ordered stripe without harsh contrast, especially alongside limewashed timber, ivory upholstery and brushed brass. It would also work well on Roman blinds or slim dining chairs where the soft green note can stay calm in natural light.

Use with pale woods and chalky neutrals for a fresh, quietly tailored look.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
