About this fabric

Etchings & Roses in Empire Yellow is a printed fabric from Sanderson’s One Sixty Fabrics collection, with a usable width of 137 cm and a substantial 265 gsm weight. The design shows a classic floral study of roses, seed heads and airy stems, drawn in a monochrome palette that sits neatly against the buttery yellow background. A vertical repeat of 61 cm and horizontal repeat of 68.6 cm give the motif plenty of space, so the pattern reads clearly rather than feeling crowded. At 35.6 threads per cm, the cloth has a fine, closely woven appearance that supports the crisp linework seen in the image.

How to use it

The warm yellow ground works well in rooms that need a lift, especially when paired with painted woodwork, pale timber or quiet neutrals. Use it for statement curtains, light upholstery or accent cushions where the grey floral detailing can stand out against the brighter base.
