Rue Linen Pebble

Rue Linen FabricSAF0347-02

Rue Linen Pebble is a calm, light neutral with a softly chalky finish and a subtle linen texture visible across the surface. Its pebble-toned cream reads understated and warm rather than bright white.

About this fabric

This colourway in the Rue Linen collection shows a fine plain weave with a dry, natural hand and a gently mottled look that catches the light softly. At 241gsm and 139 cm usable width, it has enough substance for upholstery while still working well for relaxed curtains and Roman blinds. The 84 threads per cm give the cloth a neat, closely woven appearance, and the 0 cm horizontal and vertical repeat confirms a simple non-directional plain. Pebble sits between cream and stone, so it brings warmth without looking heavy or stark.

How to use it

Use this muted pebble cream on slipper chairs, loose covers or relaxed drapery where you want a quietly layered scheme. It pairs especially well with oak, limestone and washed greens, adding softness without pulling the room yellow.

A quiet neutral with a softly weathered look, ideal when you want texture without contrast.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
