Etchings & Roses Amanpuri Red

Sanderson One Sixty Wallpapers WallpaperSAW0160-03

Etchings & Roses Amanpuri Red places finely drawn flowers, leaves and delicate flying insects across an open ivory-cream ground. Its softly muted rose-red ink gives the botanical composition the gentle depth of an old botanical print.

About this fabric

The design combines large, finely outlined blooms with curling stems, feathery leaves, butterflies and a tiny bee, all rendered in a restrained antique rose red. Against the near-white ground, the generous areas of paper between motifs keep the pattern feeling airy rather than dense. This wallpaper is supplied at a usable width of 68.6 cm, with a 64 cm vertical repeat and no horizontal repeat. The standard roll length is 10.05 m and the supplied weight is 156 gsm.

How to use it

Pair the warm ivory ground with chalky painted joinery and natural timber, allowing the muted rose-red flowers to provide the room’s colour. It would suit a bedroom, upper hallway or formal sitting room where the open layout can be appreciated at full scale.

Use this cream-and-rose-red botanical paper to bring an elegant, lightly vintage character to bedrooms, hallways or sitting rooms.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Etchings & Roses Amanpuri Red without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
