Finches Duck Egg

Sanderson One Sixty Wallpapers WallpaperSAW0003-02

Finches Duck Egg places colourful songbirds among pale, curling branches and delicate leaves on a distinctly cool duck egg blue-green ground. The restrained background lets the yellow, turquoise and russet bird details provide the visual lift.

About this fabric

The design shows finches perched throughout an airy network of cream and stone branches, with fine leaves and small berry-like details distributed across the surface. Against the muted blue-green ground, the birds’ yellow-green, turquoise and warm brown markings add gentle contrast without making the colourway feel bright or busy. This wallpaper has a 52 cm usable width and a 61 cm vertical pattern repeat, with the horizontal repeat listed as 0 cm. Each standard length is 10.05 m, and the supplied weight is 148 gsm.

How to use it

Use the cool duck egg ground to bring softness to a bedroom, reading nook or garden-facing sitting room, pairing it with warm ivory, pale timber and touches of ochre drawn from the birds’ plumage.

A calm duck egg ground gives the lively finches and branching foliage a softly collected feel in bedrooms, studies and sitting rooms.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
