Dandelion Clocks Slate

Sanderson One Sixty Wallpapers WallpaperSAW0002-03

Dandelion Clocks Slate places oversized, graphic dandelion seed heads across a deep slate-grey ground. Cream, orange and muted olive forms bring measured warmth to the cool background, while fine black stems and radiating marks define each motif.

About this fabric

The large seed-head pattern combines bright orange and warm ivory blooms with quieter olive and charcoal forms, creating depth without losing its crisp, screen-printed character. The slate ground reads as soft charcoal rather than true black, allowing the lighter motifs to stand forward while the dark outlines keep the design graphic. Supplied at 52 cm usable width and a standard 10.05 m length, it has a 64 cm vertical pattern repeat and a stated weight of 146 gsm. With no horizontal repeat specified, the composition is arranged as a vertically paced sequence of distinctive, widely spaced heads.

How to use it

Use this colourway on a feature wall in a study, dining room or bedroom where its cool slate base can balance pale woods and warm neutrals. Pick up the orange heads sparingly in a cushion, lamp or painted accent for a deliberate, graphic finish.

Use this cool slate ground with warm timber, cream upholstery and small orange accents to echo the dandelion heads.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Dandelion Clocks Slate without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
