About this fabric

The cool China Blue ink tones range from delicate, almost washed-out blue to deeper outline shading, giving the flowers an engraved, hand-drawn appearance. The design includes open branching stems, full roses, broad leaves and small butterflies or insects, with generous ivory space between the motifs. It has a 64 cm vertical pattern repeat and a 0 cm horizontal repeat, allowing the composition to run continuously across the 68.6 cm usable width. Each standard length is 10.05 m, and the supplied weight is 156 gsm.

How to use it

Use this cool blue-and-ivory colourway in a bedroom, dining room or garden-facing sitting room with soft white paint and washed timber. Pick out the deeper blue linework in cushions or ceramic accessories rather than adding a stronger competing colour.

Pair the cool China Blue florals with chalky whites, painted timber and pale natural linens for a calm, traditional scheme.
